At the start of the panel today a girl read out a letter explaining what Supernatural means to her and her friends and thanking both Jensen and Jared for sharing their lives with us. They are heroes to many of us just by being who they are even when not playing Sam and Dean. She spoke of how she loves being here with her Supernatural family for the first time at this Con and how those that disrespect both the guys and their wives are not a part of it - they are not family. It was a long letter, shortened for the panel and Jensen gave her his undivided attention even when it did go long. At the end he applauded the letter speech and asked her for the letter so he could pass it on to Jared. The girl walked up, passed him the letter and he leaned down and gave her a hug.
All in all it was really quite a sweet moment and that says a lot coming from this cynical veteran con goer. (Does 7 cons make me a veteran now?)

I’M SORRY, but as much as I feel a burning passion for the LGBTQ community, this letter is a step MUCH too far and if Jensen ever has the misfortune of reading this, I will literally dig a hole and die there from embarrassment from people who are so quick to judge, before
1) realizing that you know NOTHING about Jensen other than those few hours in a con or a gag-reel
2) he could be the NUMBER ONE FUCKING HUMAN CAMPAIGN DONOR but if he says or is tired of the same fucking Destiel questions WHICH AREN’T CANNON, its him PROTECTING THE WRITERS’ HARD WORK SO THAT WE CAN BE SURPRISED LATER ON.
3) Realize that when that video came out, this letter should have disappeared from your tumblr, out of shame and guilt, because it is CLEAR AS DAY, as to what exactly Jensen was reacting too. It was to the QUESTION THAT JUST MINS BEFORE THAT GIRL WAS TOLD NOT TO ASK SINCE MISHA HAD TO GO THROUGH THE SAME AWKWARD THING, rather than her sexuality.
4) and please, realize that you and most of this fandom are at much at fault, as well. We complain about how weak and used women are on the show….have you seen how people treat those boys once they are near? Like fucking animals in a zoo and all you want to do is touch…without asking and if you ask…its disrespectful.
5)Lastly, just remember that as part of “free will” Jensen can be whatever the fuck he wants to be (without harm, of course), but if he, like Misha, understand (SINCE THEY PLAY THE FUCKING CHARACTERS) that Dean/Cas are not gay and just loves a lot or if he is gay/bi/etc, THEY DO NOT WANT/NEED TO TELL US LIKE HOW THEY CAN’T/WON’T TELL US HOW THE SHOW COULD END, OR IF ADAM IS COMING BACK, OR IF GABE IS COMING BACK, so basically stand down, cause you are just asking for spoilers or for material that is not there.

Just read fanfic and enjoy that and hope that Jensen doesn’t see this and completely feels disappointed in us, as his fans.
